Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name for Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz was her father and Cynthia Palmer, his mother are both authors and editors. Ryder's father is from the Jewish family Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Ryder has a younger brother Uria and two half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder as well as her entire family relocated to Mendocino, California at the age of seven. Ryder was just seven. The family resided in an area without electric power. Ryder was a consummate reader and spent her time reading books as there was no television. Ryder took acting classes at the age of Ryder was 12years old in the American Conservatory Theatre. Her first role was a success on the big screen in 1986 at the age of 15 older. Ryder was bullied in her high school. Her hope was that acting could bring change. Unfortunately, that did not occur. But she continued to pursue her goal. In 1988, when Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in several movies. Two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
